Using an effective mix of didactic lectures and hands-on simulation training, some of the leading women faculty in the GI field will address the latest endoscopic tools and techniques – including treatment of esophageal disorders to polypectomy/EMR, controlling bleeding, defect closure, ergonomics of endoscopy and more. Plus, every participant will leave this course with a custom toolbox of resources that will meet their individual needs, including a checklist for how to incorporate new ergonomic and endoscopic techniques into their practice.
Hosted by the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville and Prisma Health, this is the first event of its kind in the state that uniquely focuses on basic and advanced therapeutic endoscopy as well as advancing multidisciplinary care of complex conditions. This event is ideal for individuals who manage complex malignancies and polyps – at any level – primary care, specialty management, and endoscopic and surgical management.
